S. Andrea Rice

S. Andrea rice, selected from the Rizzotto range, has a medium-sized, large, and full-bodied grain. When cooked, the grain remains softer and, when used in risotto, absorbs the sauce and tends to blend. It's also an excellent choice for soups.

Among the varieties offered, S. Andrea rice is the one the Re family prefers and recommends for tasty dishes like panissa.

Its size and intrinsic characteristics make it an excellent compromise between cooking resistance and the ability to absorb seasonings, and for this reason some prefer it to Carnaroli for preparing risotto, even though many use it more often for soups.
