Apollo Rice

Aromatic white rice with elongated grains, Apollo rice is a natural cross between an aromatic Asian rice and an Italian rice; it represents the Italian alternative to exotic indica rices like Basmati and Jasmine.

Grown in Piedmont and Sardinia, Apollo rice adds a fragrant, unique jasmine aroma to the visual and nutritional properties of white rice. Low in fat and gluten-free, Apollo rice cooks much faster than pigmented rice (10-15 minutes).

Apollo aromatic rice, known for its intense jasmine-like aroma, is pleasantly flavorful even after cooking. Its delicate flavor makes it ideal for preparing side dishes for fish and meat, although it's also worth mentioning that it can be enjoyed simply with a little extra virgin olive oil.

The versatility of Apollo aromatic rice certainly doesn't end there. This variety of rice is a great alternative to traditional white rice: thanks to its natural aroma, it's excellent boiled or steamed, but also sautéed and served with vegetable-based main courses.
